Ace pre-school lessons - for children aged 3 to 4 years
Ace pre-school levels

Super Seahorses
These lessons are for swimmers who may still need a parent/caregiver in the water initially. The goal is to gradually encourage independence while helping little ones feel confident and safe. Focus is on water safety, building confidence, and developing early independence.

PS1 - Daring Dory
In this class, we focus on building water confidence, such as getting the face and hair wet, floating with support, and moving through the water using a noodle. It's all about becoming comfortable and happy in the water.

PS2 - Curious Crayfish
At this stage, lessons emphasise key swimming skills like floating and gliding independently, kicking, and essential water safety skills. This is where swimmers start to become more confident and capable in the water.

PS3 - Electric Eels
These lessons help refine swimming skills, including streamlined kicking, backstroke kicking, and developing freestyle arm strokes. It's all about mastering the basics to build solid swimming technique.

PS4 - Flying Fish
Here, we focus on advancing freestyle skills, introducing backstroke arm movements, and continuing to build water safety skills. Swimmers will become more confident and efficient in the water.

PS5 - Happy Harpuka
In these lessons, we focus on refining the backstroke technique, introducing breaststroke skills, and reinforcing water safety. This level ensures swimmers are developing key techniques for a well-rounded swimming foundation.
Pricing and enrolment
Pre-school swim lessons are $20 per 20-minute lesson, held once a week during the school term. With most terms running for around 10 weeks, the cost is approximately $200 per term. To ensure a safe, personal and enjoyable experience for pre-schoolers, class sizes are kept small with a maximum of two children per class and a maximum of two classes running at once.
Classes are scheduled at various times, Monday through to Sunday and are broken into levels determined by ability and age.
