We are a Hamilton-based, family-focused private swim school, dedicated to growing children’s water confidence, safety knowledge, and lifelong swimming skills since 1972.

Our instructors teach in a warm, private, and supportive environment designed with families and children in mind. With small class sizes, a purpose-built indoor heated pool, and a commitment to fun and learning, we’re here to support swimmers every step of the way. Ace Swim School is located at 36 Casey Avenue in Hamilton. You might recognise us by the bright underwater fish mural at the corner of Tamihana and Casey Avenue - a well-known landmark for anyone who’s taken the shortcut from River Road to Boundary Road.

Our indoor pool is 10 metres long and 1 metre deep, heated to 32.5°C in summer and 33.5°C in winter, ensuring warmth all year round. We keep the internal air warm in winter and cool in summer, making it a pleasant space for swimmers and spectators.

Safety is our top priority. The spectator area is fully fenced so children are kept safe in our pool facilities, unless accompanied by an adult.

Ace is a comfortable space for all. Outside, there’s a waterproof area with couches and a picnic table, all with a clear view of the pool. Inside, there’s seating where you can relax and watch your swimmer with a toy box for the younger spectators. You can also buy hot drinks to enjoy during your visit.

We have four family changing rooms, two showers, and baby change tables with mats for your little ones. Parking is easy with both off-street and on-street options available.
